Light in the Darkness
Friday, December 12th at 7 PM
Light in the Darkness is about seeking and creating light when the world feels dim. It’s about music as a lantern: something we carry together, passing its glow from one heart to another. Our program will take us through moments of stillness, struggle, wonder, and celebration with each song as an ember that can ignite hope. This season’s music will remind us that even in the longest night, the promise of dawn is real. We sing them not as individuals, but as a single, many-voiced instrument, resonating with courage, compassion, and joy. So come ready with your openness and light.
Together, we’ll not only sing into the darkness… we’ll change the way it feels. Here’s to the light we will find and the light we will become.
General admission is $25. Kids 12 and under are $2. Be sure to get your tickets in advance so you don’t miss out! Online ticket sales close 4 hours before show time. Tickets will be available (soon, but not yet...) on the OCC website or at the door.
Maria Muldaur’s Holiday Show
Saturday, December 13, 2025, 7 PM
Important: the newsletter has the date wrong. This event is on the Saturday, December 13th.
Over the years, as an antidote to all the sappy and sentimental Christmas tunes we are all inundated with every holiday season, Maria Muldaur has collected some wonderfully hip, swinging, humorous and irreverent Christmas songs by her favorite Jazz and Blues artists. She and her "A Team" of some of the Bay Area's finest jazz players will be presenting her special "Christmas at the Oasis" show, for a fun evening of what Maria calls "Christmas tunes for Hipsters." There will be no corny, overdone, pedestrian Christmas tunes here, only her special collection of rare gems! Don't miss this Holiday event!
Cathy Poncia and Her Friends Trio present
A Holiday Cabaret Show

KWMR Presents A Holiday Play
